Farmers want to be farmers, so back off Starmer

UK farmers staged a fresh tractor protest today in London against inheritance tax changes, with Reform UK leader Nigel Farage addressing the protesters. Conservative figures including shadow foreign secretary Dame Priti Patel also attended.

The protest, organised by Save British Farming, took place as Members of Parliament debated an e-petition with more than 148,000 signatures calling to keep the current inheritance tax exemptions for working farms.

Major London roads were gridlocked during the farmers’ protest outside Parliament, with tractors packing onto Whitehall near Parliament for the third time in four months to protest inheritance tax being introduced to farms.

In the video below, at around timestamp 3 hrs 54 mins, Nick, host of Nick’s Farms, and his dad sing a brilliant song titled ‘I Want To Be A Farmer’

“Hey Keir, it’s time you took the blame. Your party shouldn’t be in power and millions feel the same. And Rachel, can’t you do the maths? You got the numbers wrong when it comes to inheritance tax … I want to be a farmer, like my dad.  But Keir Starmer wants to take our land … Back off Starmer, I want to be a farmer,” Nick sang out.

Speeches begin after ‘I Want To Be A Farmer.” Nigel Farage’s speech was earlier in the day at Belmont Farm in North London ahead of the rally in Westminster.  You can watch Farage’s speech HERE and the other speeches at Belmont Farm HERE.
