VIRTUALLY UNREPORTED ATROCITY IN LUGANSK, 2nd JUNE 2014
A lot has been said about atrocities in the western media claimed to have been perpetrated by the Russians, for example at Bucha and Mariupol among others. These assertions are conveyed on the say so of the Ukrainian authorities. How willing though are western news broadcasters to convey atrocities attributed to the Ukrainians? The following will I think provide the answer.
If anyone wonders if they are receiving accurate coverage of the conflict in Ukraine I would suggest watching the video below of an event which occurred on the 2nd of June 2014 and ask themselves if they recall hearing about it on any mainstream media news channel at the time.
The video is harrowing to watch. The bodies (five women and three men) are real. Yet across western media there was only one single news report that occurred a day later. This was from CNN and occurred only because a CNN team happened to be nearby at the time of the atrocity and so the network could hardly ignore it as all others so obviously did.
The video below shows the unvarnished truth that was not considered newsworthy in western mainstream news.

US House committee votes on TikTok ban.
A measure to ban the Chinese social media app passed along party lines.
The House Foreign Affairs Committee has advanced a measure that would grant President Joe Biden the power to ban TikTok and other Chinese-owned social media apps. The Biden administration recently ordered federal employees to delete the app.
The Republican-controlled committee voted 24-16 along party lines to pass the measure, which was proposed by Texas Rep. Michael McCaul. Titled the ‘Deterring America’s Technological Adversaries Act (DATA Act)’, the legislation would allow the president to impose sanctions on TikTok and its developer, ByteDance, while banning the app and any other applications “subject to the influence of China.”
The bill will need to be passed by the entire House of Representatives and Senate before it can head to Biden’s desk and potentially become law.
McCaul’s act cites prior warnings about TikTok and its data collection policies by US intelligence chiefs. Among them are FBI Director Christopher Wray, who told Congress last year that “the Chinese government could use [TikTok] to control data collection on millions of users or control the recommendation algorithm, which could be used for influence operations.”
Both TikTok and the Chinese government deny using the app for surveillance or espionage, with Beijing accusing US officials of using the pretext of national security to stifle foreign tech firms.
The Biden administration has already banned federal employees from using TikTok on government devices, and both the Canadian government and European Commission have imposed similar bans in recent months.
Former President Donald Trump considered a nationwide ban in 2020, but his proposal was ultimately blocked by a court and scrapped by Biden the following year.
The recent focus on TikTok by US officials and lawmakers comes amid a growing tide of anti-China sentiment in Washington. President Biden has called the US’ recognition of Taiwan as Chinese territory into question on multiple occasions over the last year, while the Pentagon is reportedly quadrupling its military garrison and expanding its training mission on the island.
On the legislative front, Biden signed the CHIPS Act last August, in a bid to boost US semiconductor production and counter China’s growing dominance of the industry. McCaul’s committee also held a hearing on Tuesday on combating Chinese “aggression,”during which members passed a resolution aimed at stripping China of its ‘developing country’ status, a designation that subjects it to looser rules under multilateral treaties, particularly those governing pollution and climate change.

I've been listening to Scott Ritter describe how things are for him and I suspect have been for him for quite some time now.
He has been doing a LOT of unpaid work with a great many interview requests coming in that he has been ready and willing to agree to. But the work where receives some pay for have suffered due to this, being left until the wee small hours of the night to complete work on.
Scott, I think you will agree, has been one of the most influential voices out there on Russia and Ukraine.
I was moved by Scott's words to take an annual subscription to his Substack account that he runs in coordination with his colleague on 'U.S. Tour of Duty', Jeff Norman. This is the main way that Scott recommends to help him with finances with which to upgrade his delivery of comment on Russia and Ukraine, via a better microphone etc. and perhaps the creation of a recording studio in his basement to create a more professional and impressive look. VICTORY BELONGS TO RUSSIA: IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME
Each day that passes makes a conclusive Russian victory in the Donbass and beyond more certain. As Russia bolsters her forces, and weaponry, those of Ukraine decrease. Russian forces gain ready access to rest and recuperation as troop numbers increase. The increasingly exhausted and demoralised Ukrainian troops have an ever decreasing prospect of such respite. This situation is likely to bring them to complete breakdown as Russia unleashes the firepower of the more modern and advanced weaponry that is arriving with the newly mobilised Russian troops.
The various Ukrainian offensives are now weak when confronted by the reinforced Russian lines. A few futile efforts achieve quite miserable results before fire reigns down on the Ukrainian troops and they are forced back to their starting positions.
And now, all this being said, we have arrived at the wet, and later, freezing conditions where these pathetic Ukrainian forces will be subject to myriad forms of abject misery with death and injury all around them while they lie sodden or frozen, abandoned to their fate by Kiev.
The pitiable young and old of Ukraine have been frogmarched to their deaths as cannon-fodder while the bestial elites of the collective West urge their "president" to add more to their number there at the gates of Hell and their doom. We must feel for the majority of them as they are not the Nazis we revile, in most part they are decent men, fathers, sons, brothers, husband and uncles, who no doubt saw through the coup of 2014 for what it was. But sadly, their fate seems sealed.
Nothing will stop Russia now. Every factor favours them. Victory will be Russia's. In Donbass and beyond and in due course across the world.
Victory belongs to Russia: It is now only a matter of time.

WESTERN LEADERS CREATED ‘WAR MODE’ AMONG US BUT NO WAR WAS DECLARED
Did you miss the announcement? The declaration of war? Surely it was headline news at the time? Was I in a coma when the fateful broadcast was televised? How did I miss such an important statement? This one:
“WE ARE NOW AT WAR WITH __________!”
It was surely on every radio and television news channel. The evening newspapers that day and the morning and evening editions next day must have carried banner headlines at least two inches tall. Everyone would have been talking about what it would mean. They’d be fearful perhaps thinking about building a bunker in the back garden or fitting out the basement of their apartment block for all the residents.
But no… none of this has happened.
What did happen however was a slow filtering down from on high that certain things could no longer be said, without consequences. A certain flag and the final letter of the alphabet was no longer suitable to be seen in public. Raising this subject or that flag could get you beaten up in the street, lose you your job, or in one particular country cost you a fine and perhaps even get you incarcerated.
But we were not at war. No, no, not that.
But whatever it was, in the beginning we were told it wouldn’t last long, it might be over in days, certainly no longer than a few weeks at the most. We just had to wait and it would all be over, very soon.
The enemy… no, we couldn’t call it that… let’s say adversary, that sounds safer, would soon be brought to its knees. But war? No, we weren’t at war. Noooooo…. This was not even a phony war such as had preceded the second world war. This was to be, instead, the ‘new normal’. But war? Certainly not.
Oh, all our former rights were well protected. Freedom of assembly, freedom of speech and all that. Well, ALMOST protected. You could still speak… but everyone around you plus certain authorities could now apply a punishment to you to have you silenced.
Keep speaking knowing we have the right to act against you if we wish, to cancel you, to send you to Coventry as they used to say in Britain, to refuse to speak to you because the things you were saying were ‘beyond the pale’. You could now be called names like ‘puppet’ for certain views and opinions. Your words became subject to possible tariffs and fines. And if you continued to voice your opinions you could easily find yourself unwelcome or shunned. Speak freely on certain subjects and you risk becoming an outcast, a ‘leper’, someone to be shunned and metaphorically spat upon.
Suddenly speaking your mind was quite dangerous and the fear of being ostracised spread like an invisible mist. Expressing your opinion could get you into real trouble. Those who knew too much saw that immediately. So keeping silent became the best policy for many. This suited the authorities just fine. The unspoken command was for you to go home and read ‘1984’ like a good little boy or girl, keep your nose clean and your head well under the parapet and you’ll be just fine.
Back home, apart from reading Orwell, you watched the nightly news. More and more you began to find it curious that certain issues and topics only had one side to them and all the “experts” told that one side and nothing but that one side. A side you knew to be partial and therefore false for that reason. In looking in locations other than in ‘normal’ established places you had taken a bite from the apple of knowledge and were thinking things you knew were not allowed, things that could get you punished if you spoke of them.
Then you began to hear your politicians speak of ‘The Free World’ without even a wry smile on their lips. They talked as if they believed what they were saying. But you knew they lied. That damn apple had opened your eyes and now they wouldn’t stay shut.
Your work colleagues managed their state of ignorant bliss with aplomb. Shouldn’t you try to join them you wondered. But did you want to be ignorant, bleating only what was acceptable because it’s not allowed and dangerous to be wise to the facts? This was the decision facing you.
But there was no talk of war. In fact this was not a subject you dare broach with anyone… in case you or they said the “wrong” thing.
Commuting to work each day you noticed the indefinable change of atmosphere. The people that you used to talk to about every subject under the sun were somehow more restrained, more and more they looked at each other as if silently asking if it was okay to talk about something… that it just might be forbidden. Many had become much more silent, looking into their phones and avoiding any interaction with others.
But at war? Surely we weren’t at war. That couldn’t be the case… could it?
No sirens were sounding. There were no soldiers marching off to war. But there was talk of rations, of blackouts, of an evil “adversary” (no, not an enemy, no) that was such a demonic presence that it must only be hated and eliminated as soon as possible… never even for a moment should it be considered rational in ANY way or have any reason for its actions, they were all unprovoked… just as the politicians and the newscasters said.
The er… adversary, was Inhuman, maybe even subhuman, evil to the core without ANY mitigating circumstance, to be punished without any ability to reply and no thought of hearing their side. Hadn’t the jury of our political and media elites pronounced their guilt? Our leaders had denounced them and issued their verdict. No trial was necessary. The culprits must be liquidated by all possible means. Wasn’t that right?
But war?
No war was announced. We would have heard about that.
But enormous amounts of money must be sent elsewhere and we are to suffer all kinds of hardships and be told to hate and loathe mindlessly without thinking too much about it.
But no, no, we aren’t at war………….. are we?
