Schoolgirl vomits after discovering 'human tooth' in her McDonald's chicken nuggets
Eight-year-old Siena Mochrie, who was enjoying a day out with her mum when they stopped off at a McDonald's near Glasgow, "actually vomited" when she discovered a 'tooth' in her McNuggets
A schoolgirl was left vomiting when she discovered what appeared to be a tooth in her McDonald’s chicken nuggets.
Siena Mochrie, aged eight, was enjoying a day out with her mum when they stopped off at the fast food chain branch in Kirkintilloch, near Glasgow.
But she got an unwelcome addition to her meal when she bit into something hard which, upon inspection, was white and partially discoloured to yellow.
It is not known exactly what the object was, but Siena's mum, Liz Henry, believes it looked like a human tooth.

She said: "It was a treat day for my daughter - she had earned a reward and chose McDonald’s.

"It discoloured to yellow, so then I thought it was maybe a bit of bone but it looked like a tooth and so that’s what I thought at first.
"She actually vomited when she saw what she’d had in her mouth."
Siena had bitten into her first nugget, but the whole meal went to waste after that.
Liz, 43, added: "McDonald’s offered to replace the meal but I mean who wants to eat out of there after finding that?
"My daughter hasn't eaten chicken nuggets from McDonald’s since, nor any that look like McDonald’s."

A spokesperson for the fast food brand said they had not received her initial message, but were now in touch.
They said: "Food safety is of the utmost importance to McDonald’s and we place great emphasis on quality control to avoid imperfections in our products.
"However, in this instance, we have no record of the customer complaint and without the alleged foreign object, we cannot conduct a proper investigation.
"We understand the customer is now in contact with our customer services team to find a resolution."
