Intelligence Review: The Circus of Insecurity, The Trump Administration's Signal App and the Yemen Bombing Plans
As we observe the latest spectacle from the Trump Administration, where the headlines are as chaotic as a three-ring circus and the stakes are alarmingly high, one just has to ask what is on offer today? A masterclass in misdirection, featuring the Signal App and a not-so-subtle plan to bomb Yemen, all under the watchful eye of our illustrious ringmaster, Donald Trump.
The Signal App, the most touted App by privacy advocates and the great white hope for secure communication! Yet, in the hands of the Trump administration, it looks more like a carnival game in sideshow alley where the prize is your own sense of security.
If the Israelis can hack the accounts of politicians, journalists, and dissidents with the same ease as a child popping balloons in sideshow alley than what does it say about these so-called "secure" communications of the Signal App? One might argue that relying on Whats Appâs or Signalâs encryption is akin to trusting the poison dwarf with your wallet.
It certainly makes one wonder what else they are sharing on the Signal App. One could only hope that the nuclear launch codes havenât been shared or posted in such a chat group?
Kim Jong and North Korea now do not seem so crazy.
But letâs get back to our main attraction: their imminent plans to bomb Yemen.
Nothing quite says âdiplomacyâ like a military strike wrapped in the guise of national security although one canât help but wonder if this is merely a red herring, a kind of âWag the Dogâ distraction from the circus of incompetence unfolding and the hidden agendas of the Trump administration, such as Digital Identity, CBDC, the mass surveillance of Americans utilising Israeli technology and the looming Smart Cities aka the âFreedom Citiesâ.
The Trump administration is well versed in media management and sleight of hand. One could just imagine Trump booming to his administration ânever let a crisis go to wasteâ.
Could this all be part of a psychological operation, a grand psyop designed to hoodwink the American public while the real show unfolds behind the curtain?
And here we are, watching as Trump, the self-proclaimed âstable geniusâ assumes the role of ringmaster in this tragic comedy. The irony is rich: a man who once boasted about his ability to negotiate peace now appears to be orchestrating a farce that even the best satirists would struggle to pen.
One can only contemplate how far the US military have now fallen with using an App to communicate strike plans, although it was only a few months ago that the FBI were informing the American public to use Whatâs App and whilst failing to provide a disclaimer that Whats App is vulnerable to Pegasus spyware and is as secure as the bearded lady on a full moon.
It almost sounds like a plot to hoodwink the American people into downloading the Signal App because itâs allegedly used by the American military. Letâs also not overlook the potential for a false flag operation lurking in the shadows of this absurdity. Could the alleged plan and bombing of Yemen also have been a baited trap? A ploy to incite terror, perhaps orchestrated by an Israeli front group like ISIS, only to blame the Yemenis and justify a retaliatory strike? Itâs a plot twist worthy of a bad spy novel and yet here we are living it.
As we draw back the curtain on this circus, we must also question the larger implications of this administration's reliance on dubious technologies to bolster its credibility. In the midst of this chaos, one can almost hear Trump touting the virtues of blockchain technology and digital identity, a veritable technological panacea for the administrationâs myriad failures. Because when you canât govern effectively, why not distract the masses with the promise of shiny new tech?
We can only hope that the Dancing Bears make an appearance and that there is a decent supply of Snake Oil and Q Phones in Side Show Alley!
In conclusion, the Trump Administrationâs circus act is one for the ages.
Itâs a tragicomic performance that leaves the audience bewildered and, dare I say, slightly nauseated. The use of the Signal App was evidence of incompetence and gross negligence. The reckless plans to bomb Yemen and the overarching narrative that smells of a psyop reveals an administration that is not just unprofessional; itâs a traveling freak show.
One can only hope that, unlike the clowns in the ring, this administration will eventually take its final bow before they drag us all into WWIII.
One also wonders whether the use of a third party application is a violation of government and military procedures and a violation of Signals own Terms of Service and its User Agreement?
One can only think that perhaps the Trump administration should have utilised the Pagers they were all gifted from Netanyahu but then again they too could have turned tragic.
One can also only giggle that it was Trump whom declared himself as being the âmessengerâ. Who needs a Pager that has been improvised as an IED when youâre own administration refuse to communicate by utilising established and secure methods?
Keep your eyes peeled on this circus because the jokes could very well turn nuclear.
