Nicaragua breaks diplomatic relations with Israel
Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega has ordered the severance of diplomatic relations with Israel, Vice President Rosario Murillo said. The day before, on October 11, the National Assembly had asked the government to examine the possibility of such a decision.
"Our president has asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic to respond to the request of the national parliament and to break off diplomatic relations with the fascist and genocidal government of Israel," Murillo told Canal 4.
