Zelensky and Trump hold ‘very productive’ talks at Vatican
by Carlo Domenico Cristofori
Finally, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky went to Rome for the Pope’s funeral, and has already had a first meeting with Donald Trump.
Spokespeople for both leaders confirmed their face-to-face meeting, but it is unclear whether they met in St. Peter’s shortly before the start of the ceremony or also at Villa Taverna, the seat of the US diplomatic representation in the capital, where both cars were seen entering.
Trump has said that his special envoy Steve Witkoff had a good meeting in Moscow. “Witkoff had a good meeting,” Reuters quoted him as saying.
Witkoff met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow earlier in the day. Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov said earlier that Putin had received Witkoff at the Kremlin. In his words, their conversation, which lasted three hours, was “constructive and quite useful.”
But just as talks between the US and Russia for a truce in Ukraine continue, Kiev intelligence is accused of killing a Moscow general.
We have to remember that Zelensky is an alleged secret agent of MI 6, the British military counterspionage… And the intelligence of the United Kingdom, along with other NATO countries, has been identified as responsible for multiple explosive attacks.
That’s why while Washington tries to find an outlet for a difficult truce, London seems oriented to continue the conflict to the bitter end to enrich the European Weapons Lobby (and the American Zionist financiers who speculate on it...)
Russian Foreign Ministry cites Kiev’s link to killed Russian general
A car explosion in the city of Balashikha near Moscow killed Yaroslav Moskalik, deputy chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Russian Investigative Committee Spokeswoman Svetlana Petrenko said. The blast was caused by an improvised explosive device. An investigation is underway.
There are reasons to believe that Ukrainian intelligence agencies could be involved in the killing, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
UPDATE – FSB detains Ukrainian suspect in murder of Russian general Moskalik
“There are reasons to believe that Ukrainian intelligence agencies could be involved in the killing, given their ties to Yaroslav Moskalik going back to his time in the Minsk Contact Group and at the Normandy Four platform on resolving the conflict in southeastern Ukraine,”she pointed out.
“If the investigation confirms that Ukraine is behind this, it will again demonstrate to the international community the barbaric and treacherous nature of the Kiev regime, which chooses to escalate military confrontation with Russia and irresponsibly ignores constructive proposals aimed at finding a peaceful solution to the conflict.”
It should not be forgotten that Ukraine and NATO intelligence have been held responsible for the assassination of Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, head of Russia’s Troops of Radiological, Chemical, and Biological Defense.
The Foreign Ministry expressed its sincere condolences to Moskalik’s family and friends.
The statement said that an investigative task force is working at the crime scene.
“According to it, the explosion was triggered by the detonation of an improvised explosive device containing destructive elements. A criminal case has been opened, which is being handled by the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia,” it read.

Many Terroristic Attacks in Russia in the Asymmetric Warfare by Kiev-NATO
Many terrorist attacks have been perpetrated in Russia since the beginning of the conflict with an asymmetric warfare strategy of Kiev and NATO intelligence.
The most serious is certainly the one that occurred on March 22, 2024 in the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Krasnogorsk, in Moscow Oblast, which caused 145 deaths and 551 injuries.
The investigation led to the arrest of several Tajik jihadists with macroscopic ties to Ukraine but also with close financial correlations with a former director of the CIA
