In January 2019, Twitter and intelligence agencies conducted a massive campaign against free speech and press freedom, purging truth activist accounts in droves. As a result, the censored free thinkers and influencers moved over to Telegram.
For the last 5 years, I directed a public Telegram channel @DrAriyanaLove, where I shared geopolitical news and critical patent review on the Covid-19 technology. I shared my expertise in peer-reviewed research, and natural detox protocols using a root-cause approach to healing.
My efforts resulted in the health of thousands of people being rescued. Much of my journalism and critical research was volunteer, through my international foundation and Ministry, which I founded in 2011. I used Telegram to develop my Naturopathic medicine and consulting practice, and to communicate with clients.
Several months ago, I was booted off Telegram, unable to sign back into my account. Telegram ignored my messages asking for help to restore access to my account and my Telegram channel. I was not sure if this was an accident or deliberate targeting at the time, so I created another Telegram account and channel @drloveariyana, where I continued sharing my investigative research and communicating with clients.
In October, I was suddenly booted out of Telegram again. A notice appeared on my screen saying that my telephone number was banned. This time it was clear to me that I was targeted since I had been sharing content of Israeli war crimes and genocide in besieged Gaza, Palestine, for the last one year.
Less than a month after he was arrested by French authorities in Paris, Telegram CEO Pavel Durov announced the messaging app would bow to Western governments’ requests to remove “problematic content” and provide Telegram users’ IP addresses and phone numbers.
Big League Politics concluded:
“Free speech protections remain relatively strong in the U.S., so members of the American national security establishment likely outsourced the policing function of shutting down Telegram to France. As a member of NATO and the Collective West, France will likely do D.C.’s bidding without complaints, which likely explains why Durov was arrested in France of all places..
“The charges that Durov is currently facing are largely a pretext, for what is likely a politically motivated arrest against a figure whose platform has become a nuisance to the national security interests of NATO and the Judeo-American Empire.”
Social media companies have become far more cooperative with government takedown requests. The War On Terror paved the way for online censorship of Palestinians and pro-Palestine human rights content.
The U.S. House Judiciary Committee is spearheading an investigation into how the federal government coerced and colluded with Big Tech private companies and other third-party groups to censor certain viewpoints in ways that undermine First Amendment principles, in what is known as the Twitter Files.
According to a report published in April 2023, Musk has complied with 80% of government requests for censorship since he took over the platform.
A report from the The Arab Center for the Advancement of Social Media, shared exclusively with the Independent in May 2021, demonstrated a politically motivated campaign to censor Palestine content across social media.
Electronic Intifada wrote an article about Twitter enforcing Israeli military censorship in 2018. The Israeli state has a cyber censorship unit where they campaign to censor the Internet and close people’s accounts based on accused “antisemitism”.
The scale of its operation ballooned from a few hundred removal requests during the first year of its operation in 2015, to around 20,000 in 2019, according to the Office of the State Attorney’s annual reports in 2021.
Platforms complied with the “Cyber Unit” in over 90 percent of cases in 2019, compared to 70 percent in 2016. According to the Cyber Unit's own end-of-year 2016 report, it handled 2,241 cases of online content and 1,554 of these were removed as a result of the unit's operations.
Social media corporations are not subject to Israeli public law and many of their censorship activities are illegal, in violation of free speech. In actuality, Zionists are striving to remove content that’s critical of state-sponsored terrorism and war crimes against Palestinians.
Human Rights Watch reported on Meta and Instagram’s censorship of Palestine content in 2023.
