The sheer intellectual collapse you have to experience to be faced with 122 international aid organisations telling you the same thing... ISRAEL IS STARVING GAZANS... only to decide they are ALL lying & that actually Benjamin Netanyahu, on trial for fraud, is telling the truth. ~ Nizam Mihani(social media)

Israeli forces killed at least 89 Palestinians in Gaza on Thursday, including at least 19 aid seekers. In total, Israel has killed at least 1,092 aid seekers since May 27, 2025 (learn about aid seekers here).
At least 2 Palestinians have died of forced starvation in the past 24 hours in Gaza, bringing the death toll from hunger to 115.

(For some basic info on the Palestine-Israel conflict, go here. For a bit more critical context, skim this, this, and this.To read about a remarkable but underreported, 20-month-long peaceful protest in Gaza against Israel, go here.)
Palestinian women were told to go to U.S.-run aid sites in Gaza. They were killed and beaten instead, eyewitnesses say.
In an unusual move since it first began operations, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) announced on its Facebook page that aid distribution would today be exclusively for women. The distribution was supposed to be carried out at two locations in southern Gaza: the Saudi neighborhood in Rafah and the city of Khan Younis. The GHF’s call instructed women in Gaza to head to these points at 9:00 a.m.
“Our local team will guide women to a designated area where each will receive a box,” the GHF said in its announcement in Arabic, accompanied by what appears to be an AI-generated photo of smiling male GHF workers holding boxes and welcoming a group of women approaching them. “Men are requested to avoid the site during this distribution,” the statement added.
But when the women arrived, GHF personnel attacked them with pepper-spray and batons, while Israeli military vehicles opened fire with bullets over their heads, eyewitnesses said in testimonies obtained by Mondoweiss. One woman who was at the site says she witnessed a GHF worker beating a pregnant woman on her stomach. Other eyewitnesses reported to local journalists that two women were shot dead by the Israeli army and several others were injured (continue reading here).
Israel caught in another lie*: USAID analysis found no evidence of massive Hamas theft of Gaza aid
REUTERS: An internal U.S. government analysisfound no evidence of systematic theft by the Palestinian militant group Hamas of U.S.-funded humanitarian supplies, challenging the main rationale that Israel and the U.S. give for backing a new armed private aid operation.
The analysis, which has not been previously reported, examined 156 incidents of theft or loss of U.S.-funded supplies reported by U.S. aid partner organizations between October 2023 and this May, and found “no reports alleging Hamas” benefited from U.S.-funded supplies, according to a slide presentation of the findings seen by Reuters.
A State Department spokesperson disputed the findings, saying there is video evidence of Hamas looting aid, but provided no such videos. The spokesperson also accused traditional humanitarian groups of covering up “aid corruption.”
The analysis found that at least 44 of the 156 incidents where aid supplies were reported stolen or lost were “either directly or indirectly” due to Israeli military actions, according to the briefing slides.
*NOTE: Among Israel’s lies are numerous atrocity stories about the October 7th attack that have since been proven untrue (more examples here). In addition, a number of the Israeli soldiers and civilians killed on October 7 were shown to have been killed by Israeli fire – a fact that is absent from the official Israeli narrative. Another Israeli lie resulted in a devastating withdrawal of humanitarian aid funding for Gaza. Previously, Israel has been caught in many lies – for example, this and this and this.

Yet another lie: Israel Is Now Blaming the UN for Its Famine. Here’s the Reality.
The focal point of the Israeli accusation against the UN is a collection of some 900 aid trucks that have already crossed into Gaza but which have been unable to distribute the aid. Yet Israel has actively prevented the UN from distributing aid.
Tamara Alrifai, a spokesperson for UNRWA, told Drop Site that Israeli restrictions on the movement of the organization’s staff have made distribution impossible. “Claiming that the UN isn’t picking up food and other urgent supplies, and promoting images that these goods are just sitting near the crossing is disingenuous to say the least,” she said.
“Since the collapse of the ceasefire, the government of Israel tightened its already stringent restrictions even more, giving even less permission to the UN to move around the Gaza Strip.… The rule is that a UN convoy moves after getting consent. We as the UN have not been getting sufficient permission to move…It’s truly cynical to accuse the UN of not doing its work after weeks of seeking to bypass the UN via the GHF and in reality failing to deliver through that so-called ‘humanitarian foundation” (continue reading here).

Gaza teens show signs of severe torture after release from Israeli detention
The Israeli army released 10 Palestinian teenage boys on Thursday after detaining them for nearly a month from the al-Shakoush aid distribution area in northwest Rafah, southern Gaza, an area previously designated as a “safe corridor” for humanitarian relief.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) transferred the boys to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, where an Anadolu reporter observed visible signs of severe physical abuse and exhaustion on the detainees.
According to firsthand accounts, the boys were arrested while attempting to obtain humanitarian aid.
One former prisoner confirmed that a group of Palestinian youths is being held in Israel’s notorious Sde Teiman prison, which has been widely reported to have abusive detention conditions.
Waterborne diseases up nearly 150% in Gaza amid Israeli blockade: NGO
The UK-based charity Oxfam warned about the crippling health care situation Thursday posed by the deliberate blockade of aid by Israel, describing Gaza as a “petri dish of disease” due to the blockade of aid, while millions of dollars of humanitarian aid pile up in warehouses across the region.
The charity said the number of Palestinians presenting at health facilities with acute watery diarrhea has increased 150%, bloody diarrhea is up 302%, and acute jaundice cases have climbed 101%, citing multi-agency health data.
Oxfam warned that the surge of disease can “quickly turn deadly,” especially as Palestinians have been deprived of food, water, shelter, and adequate healthcare for more than 21 months.
As Palestinian girls and women struggle to find the most basic items—soap, sanitary pads, diapers, thousands of hygiene kits are packed and ready in UNRWA warehouses in Jordan and Egypt, just waiting for the green light. (social media)

(To get an idea about past ceasefires between Gaza and Israel and how they ended, check out this and this.)
US, Israel quit Gaza talks; Hamas denies blocking a ceasefire
The US joined Israel on Thursday in pulling its negotiators from Gaza ceasefire talks, with special envoy Steve Witkoff blaming Hamas for failing to reach a deal – an accusation that Hamas has refuted as a “distortion” of events.
Witkoff accused Hamas of not “acting in good faith [that] clearly shows a lack of desire to reach a ceasefire in Gaza,” and said the United States was bringing its team home.
Washington would now “consider alternative options to bring the hostages home and try to create a more stable environment for the people of Gaza,” he added.
Hamas says it was “bewildered” by the US envoy’s comments. In a statement shared on Telegram, Hamas said it made “a sincere commitment to the success of the mediators’ efforts” to reach a deal (continue reading here).
Drop Site News reports: The U.S. announced it was pulling out of the Gaza ceasefire talks today, even as Hamas said it remained committed to diplomacy. A senior Hamas official told Jeremy Scahill that envoy Steve Witkoff “is playing the same game of manipulation, deception and evasion” and that the withdrawal is an attempt at a “new round of blackmailing.”

Far-right Israeli politicians and settlers discuss luxury ‘Gaza riviera’ plan
A group of far-right Israeli politicians and settlers met in parliament this week to discuss a plan to displace Palestinians from Gaza, annex the territory and turn it into a hi-tech, luxury resort city for Israelis.
The scheme, titled “The master plan for settlement in the Gaza Strip”, envisions the construction of 850,000 housing units, construction of hi-tech “smart cities” that trade cryptocurrency, and a metro system that runs across the territory.
The text of the plan said: “The right of the people of Israel to settle, develop and preserve this land is not just a historical right – it is a national and security obligation.”
The plan, seen by the Guardian, would require Gaza’s existing population of about 2 million to be emptied out. Michael Sfard, one of Israel’s leading human rights lawyers, said: “This is a plan for ethnic cleansing. Under international law, this would amount to a crime against humanity” (continue reading here).
Israel ‘racing to wipe out Gaza*, eliminate its people’: Heritage minister
Israel’s far-right Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu said Thursday that his government is “racing against time to wipe out Gaza and its Palestinian population,” adding that the territory will become “entirely Jewish.”
“The government is racing to wipe out Gaza. We are eliminating this evil. We are eliminating its residents,” Eliyahu told Israel’s Kol Barama radio.
“Gaza will become completely Jewish. We do not need to deal with Gaza’s hunger,” he said.
*NOTE: This is just the latest of hundreds, if not thousands of genocidal statements from Israeli leaders. A list of such statements were a portion of the evidence that led the International Court of Justice to find Israel plausibly guilty of the crime of genocide.
Israel planning ‘major offensive’ against Yemen: Report
Israel is planning a “major offensive” against Yemen and is waiting for a green light from the Israeli political echelon, Israel’s Channel 14 reported on 23 July.
“The Israeli security establishment is working around the clock on a major offensive plan against the Yemeni Ansarallah group, which will put an end to the numerous terrorist incidents and rocket attacks on Israel,” the Hebrew channel said.
“We are building capabilities, and we will know how to activate them once the political echelon makes a decision,” a senior official told the outlet.
“The meaning here is that Yemen, which over the past 20 months has been a secondary arena attacked by Israel several times, is now becoming a central arena alongside Gaza, and is now an operational priority on the political level, and thus within the Israeli military as well,” Channel 14 reported.

Freedom Flotilla loses contact with aid ship ‘Handala’ en route to Gaza
The Handala aid ship, which is carrying food and humanitarian supplies to Gaza in defiance of an Israeli starvation siege, has resumed its mission following a brief two-hour communications blackout.
During the blackout, drones were seen observing near the ship, raising fears of a possible attack.
“Connection has now been re-established. ‘Handala’ is continuing its mission and is currently less than 349 nautical miles from Gaza,” The Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) announced on Telegram.

Major Media Say Their Journalists in Gaza Are ‘Increasingly Unable to Feed Themselves’
Four leading news organizations – The Associated Press, Agence France-Presse, Reuters and the BBC – said in a joint statement Thursday :“We are desperately concerned for our journalists in Gaza, who are increasingly unable to feed themselves and their families.”
“For many months, these independent journalists have been the world’s eyes and ears on the ground in Gaza. They are now facing the same dire circumstances as those they are covering.”
The statement called on Israel to allow journalists in and out of Gaza and allow adequate food supplies into the territory.
Israel has barred international media from entering Gaza independently throughout the 21-month war.
Macron says France will recognize Palestinian state in September
President Emmanuel Macron said in a post on X on Thursday that he will formally recognize Palestine as a state at the United Nations General Assembly in September.
The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned Macron’s announcement: “Such a move rewards terror…A Palestinian state in these conditions would be a launchpad to annihilate Israel,” the statement read.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz called the move “a disgrace and a surrender to terrorism,” adding, “We will not allow the establishment of a Palestinian entity that would harm our security, endanger our existence, and undermine our historical right to the Land of Israel.”
Over 100 UK legislators call for Palestine recognition
Over 100 UK MPs have signed a letter to Keir Starmer calling on the UK government to recognize a Palestinian State, according to Sky News.
The letter, organized by Sarah Champion, reads: “British recognition of Palestine would be particularly powerful given its role as the author of the Balfour Declaration* and the former Mandatory Power in Palestine”.
“Since 1980 we have backed a two-state solution. Such a recognition would give that position substance as well as living up to a historic responsibility we have to the people under that Mandate.”
The letter comes amid a rise in public outrage in the UK over Israel’s starvation of Gaza, as well as an announcement by French President Macron that France would recognize a Palestinian state.

US media barely touches Epstein links with Israeli intelligence
Noticeably absent from US news coverage of US President Donald Trump’s waffling over the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files is any mention of the child sex predator’s apparent ties to Israeli intelligence.
A 13 July Nexis search of US news outlets found that, of the 383 stories unleashed by Trump’s broken promise to reveal everything Epstein, only a single article broached ties between Epstein and Israel’s intelligence agency, the Mossad – and then tried to undercut it.
The single story that did mention Mossad links, on 10 July in Atlantic Online, the online edition of The Atlantic Monthly, merely dismissed those making a case for Epstein’s ties to Mossad as “a claim often expressed with anti-Semitic rhetoric” (continue reading here).
