Former Laval player takes Pfizer, BioNTech, and FFF to court - Get French Football News

According to France Bleu Mayenne, François-Xavier Fumu Tamuzo will take Pfizer and BioNTech laboratories to court after alleging that the COVID-19 vaccine may have played a part in ending his footballing career at the age of 29.

The former player arrived at Stade Lavallois in 2021 but after a series of injuries debilitated his career, he was forced to retire near the end of last season. The now-retired striker has argued that he’s neither a conspiracy theorist nor an anti-vaxxer, but he would like the courts to explore whether there is a link between his injuries and the vaccine.

Fumu Tamuzo stated to France Bleu, “I would like to understand why my body stopped functioning,” with the former player alleging that he suffered a series of injuries around the same time that he was vaccinated against the disease.

Fumu Tamuzo takes legal action against Pfizer, BioNTech, and FFF

Along with Pfizer and BioNTech, Fumu Tamuzo is also taking legal action against the French Football Federation, because as his lawyer explains, “At the time Fumu Tamuzo was vaccinated (July 2021) vaccination was not compulsory. It would later become so for professional footballers. I consider that the FFF has a responsibility in this story. It built a health protocol before the introduction of a law.”

A hearing will take place on the 2nd of July in Paris where the courts will decide whether to appoint a panel of experts to establish whether or not there was a causal link between his injuries and the vaccination.
